Weep No More

For so many years now we have been subjected to the wretched self-pity of a segment of our population who seem to want nothing more of our society than to have something to complain about. They offer a myriad of excuses for why they are downtrodden and held back from achievement. They can't get an education because they are only earning minimum wage or no wage at all. It's all nonsense really. No physically fit person in this country has an excuse not to learn. Forget about federal education, it only exists to prevent one from learning about something of value. It's a propaganda program and a government growth organization - it's certainly not about helping anyone. There exists a website who's avowed purpose is to allow anyone, regardless of race, color or creed to get a free education. Before any pitiable miscreant starts to make an excuse why it doesn't apply to them, I'm sure most have access to the latest technological devices and, if they don't, public libraries do. Check out www.khanacademy.org/. It's a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan to provide "a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere". The organization produces micro lectures in the form of YouTube videos. In addition to micro lectures, the organization's website features practice exercises and tools for educators. All resources are available for free to anyone around the world. All that is needed is the will to succeed!
